    Description

NOTE: THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY!
    LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!
The vehicle starts and runs but there is an issue with the engine that has rendered it undrivable. The engine is making a knocking sound and, while I'm not a mechanic, I'm pretty sure it is an internal engine issue; either broken rod or bearing is my guess. I do not have the time or resources to rebuild or even replace the engine. I have looked into purchasing a used engine and it seems they can be found for 00 - 00.
With that said, everything else with the vehicle is in relatively good condition. There are some dents and cosmetic issues (see pictures), the rear wiper is not working (probably a fuse or replay), and the rear driver's side power lock doesn't work. That's the bad, here's the good:
Just had a tune up a couple weeks before the engine issue, so the spark plugs, air filters, and oil filter are all brand new
Brand new key fob replaced by Kia
The front and rear breaks are new
The tires have under 10,000 miles on them
Professionally installed tow package (trailer hitch and wiring for lighting)
100,000 mile service recently performed (belts replaced, fluids flushed, etc.)
With the engine repaired or replaced the car will run like a dream and could likely go for another 100,000 miles. I'm really hoping someone with the time and resources to perform the engine work will purchase this and get it running again; it will be a real shame if it went to scrap.
Wire transfer or payments through ebay (escrow.com) accepted. Money orders can be used, but will need to be validated first.
