    Description

    Early Antique Steel Stork Scissors
    Germany * Circa 1890
These petite figural steel scissors are an early version of the popular stork scissors seen today. They are in a different shape
than the more modern examples with a sharp little wing tip. They are engraved on both sides with feathers, though the wings are smooth and polished, an unusual design. There are traces of a gilded finish.
They have some discoloration but are in overall great
condition with no rust or other damage and t
    hey measure 3 1/8" long
. The blades have intact, needle sharp points and they cut very well.
I stand behind everything that I offer and
